Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDIs) are Welcome!

This intensive, two-day training is focused on the unique issues specific to sexuality, the Deaf community and interpreters. Interpreters attending this training will:

q Examine HIV/AIDS issues q Explore their values, attitudes and beliefs about HIV/AIDS and related issues

q Increase their knowledge and skill with HIV/AIDS signs q Apply the learning to interpreting practice to enhance job performance

NOTE: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is REQUIRED. This training will be facilitated in American Sign Language by Christine Gannon, M.S.Ed. and all other presenters.
