A Workshop for Interpreters of the

Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDIs) are Welcome!

This intensive, two-day training is focused on the unique issues specific to sexuality, the Deaf community and interpreters. Interpreters attending this training will:

q Examine sexuality issues q Increase their knowledge and skill with sexuality signs q Explore their values, attitudes and beliefs about sexuality

q Gain insight from professionals in the field of Deafness and sexuality and other interpreters q Apply the learning to interpreting practice to enhance job performance

NOTE: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required. This training will be facilitated by Christine Gannon, M.S.Ed. and all other presenters in American Sign Language.
